The Heat

On the streets of the nation, Trump’s Presidency being put to the test after a tumultuous week, that saw tens of thousands of Americans protest racial injustice and police brutality.

It comes after the death of George Floyd, an unarmed black man at the hands of a white policeman, pinning him to the ground, with his knee on Floyd’s neck for more than eight minutes, as Floyd pleaded with the officer, I can’t breathe, his last words. The demonstrations of course taking place amid the coronavirus pandemic, the biggest health crisis in more than a century. But with a jobs report pointing to a surprising turnaround in the economy, is the President able to weather this storm?
