The Heat: Former U.S. Natl. Security Adviser’s controversial memoir

The Heat

During John Bolton’s 17 months as Donald Trump’s National Security Adviser, the United States abandoned the Iran nuclear deal.

But Trump and Bolton clashed on many other issues. And depending on who you talk to Bolton was either fired or resigned last September. Now comes his memoir which the administration tried to stop from being published.

To discuss Bolton’s book:

  • Allan Lichtman is a distinguished history professor at American University.
  • Victor Gao is a chair professor at Soochow University.
  • John Sitilides is a geopolitical strategist and consultant to the U.S. State Department.
  • Nathan King is CGTN’s White House correspondent.
