Future of policing under scrutiny in the U.S.

Protests like the one in Seattle were sparked by the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. Calls for change include the issue of policing.

The Minneapolis City Council recently voted to abolish the Police Department. It would be replaced with a “Department of Community Safety and Violence Prevention.” City voters will have the final say.
