ABOUT:

Three years after the deadly Charlottesville “Unite the Right” protests rattled the United States, statues of Confederate leaders have begun to come down, at the hands of both protesters and state governments, across the United States as a nationwide discussion on race and culture is underway.

‘White Space’ explores the state of race in the United States, examining the clashes which brought the debate of Confederate imagery to the national agenda; while seeking to understand what lives at the intersection of the politicization of race and the rise of nationalism in modern America.

Following the heads of various white nationalist movements in the U.S., it takes a journey into the mind and motivation of those seeking to find space in the mainstream, and also those working hard to resist them.
