Bicycles in short supply in the U.S. due to COVID-19

Bicycles are in short supply after demand surged in the summer, as more Americans opted for safer ways to commute and exercise in the time of COVID-19.

But the pandemic has also disrupted global supply chains for an industry that relies largely on imports, leaving bicycle dealers struggling to fill orders.
