U.S. President Donald Trump says on social media that his political opponents want to meet to discuss a new stimulus plan.

Unemployment benefits for tens of millions of Americans dropped by $600 per week at the end of last week.

Trump has signed an order to restore part of that money. But he may have created a new set of problems, as CGTN’s Owen Fairclough reports.
