Trade representatives from China and the United States are expected to hold a video conference call this weekend to discuss the Phase One trade deal signed in January.

It comes amid growing tensions between the world’s two largest economies.

Although the purchasing of U.S. farm products by China appears to be behind schedule, record purchases of corn last month are being welcomed by U.S. farmers.
