U.S. President Donald Trump attacks Biden in his acceptance speech

The Republican National Convention wrapped up Thursday with President Donald Trump speaking from the South Lawn of the White House.

Trump attacked his Democratic opponent Joe Biden portraying him as weak and a radical leftist while claiming Biden accomplished little in his nearly 50 years in Washington.

The four-day Republican National Convention was heavy on issues that appeal to the base of the Republican party including limiting immigration, restricting abortion and calling for “Law and Order” as protests continue in some US cities.

Both Trump and Biden say they will begin travelling and campaigning in person in the coming weeks, which will likely mean political fireworks between now and election day on November 3.
