Former police officers charged in George Floyd death appear in court

The four former police officers charged with killing George Floyd have appeared in court once again. 

Derek Chauvin, the officer filmed kneeling on Floyd for almost nine minutes, appeared in court in person for the first time. 

Attorneys for the four former officers have filed motions asking for the charges to be dismissed, claiming Floyd contributed to his own death, they allege, by taking drugs.
