The numbers are painting a gloomy picture in the Western Hemisphere. In Europe, governments are resorting to lock-downs and curfews to try to stop the transmission rate of COVID-19. In the United States, more than 1, 100 deaths were reported this past Wednesday, the highest number in more than a month. And in 31 states the number of infections is rising.
