The Heat: Congress moves forward with Trump impeachment

The Heat

The U.S. House of Representatives is scheduled to vote this week, likely Wednesday, on an article of impeachment against President Donald Trump.

Lawmakers say Trump engaged in high crimes and misdemeanors by inciting violence against the U.S. government.

Last week, pro-Trump supporters stormed their way into the Capitol building, smashing windows and rummaging through offices. Six people died as a result of the attack, including two Capitol police officers.

CGTN’s Nathan King has the story from the White House.
