COVID-19 survivors might only need one vaccine dose

Several studies in the United States suggest that COVID-19 survivors might not need a second dose of a coronavirus vaccine.

More than 27 million coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the U.S. which could theoretically free up millions more vaccine doses.

But experts say that more rigorous studies would be needed to adopt this policy.
