$15 minimum wage could lead to layoffs in the U.S.

The Biden administration wants to raise the federal minimum wage which hasn’t gone up since 2009, making it difficult for many to survive. 

He’s proposed a rate hike in his new $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief bill. The proposed rate is more than double the current minimum wage, causing some to be concerned about the impact on employment.
