The past year has been a tragic and trying time at America’s nursing homes. Data trackers tie more than one-third of all COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. to long-term care facilities.
And the inability of residents to see their families and friends due to visitor restrictions has been a strain on their mental health.
But some facilities have come up with a creative workaround to that problem.
