COVID-19: New York City restaurant workers eligible for vaccine

COVID-19

Restaurant workers in New York City are now eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccine, a decision that came days before indoor dining returned to limited capacity on February 12th.

The state’s seven-day coronavirus positivity rate is the lowest it’s been since late November, but officials say new variants of the virus remain a concern.

The reopening plan is data dependent but those in the restaurant industry hope the vaccine rollout will serve them well.
