Indoor fitness studios in New York City have been allowed to reopen marking a big step forward for a sector hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic.

But over the past year fitness habits have changed with more people investing in at-home workout equipment.

Now gyms and fitness classes will have to wrestle with companies like Peloton that have grown bigger during the pandemic.
