The IMF’s managing director discusses the global economy in a one-on-one interview. What does she see ahead for 2021 and beyond?

The International Monetary Fund and the World Bank are about to hold their major Spring meetings. And, in a curtain-raiser address ahead of the gathering, the IMF’s managing director, Kristalina Georgieva,  laid out her expectations for the global economy for 2021-2022.

She expanded on that during an in-depth interview with The Heat’s host, Anand Naidoo.

The discussion also focused on China and the IMF’S role in Africa.
