The Heat

Western countries imposed sanctions on China in response to allegations of human rights’ abuses in its Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

Those allegations, reported by Western media outlets, claim the minority Uygur Muslim population is being subjected to forced labor and other abuses.

CGTN’s Huang Yue went to Xinjiang and filed this report.
