Peru investigating allegations surrounding COVID-19 vaccine rollout

Peru is battling a deadly wave of the coronavirus where nearly 1.9 million cases have been identified since the pandemic began. Hospitals have been overrun with critical shortages. Now comes another issue.

The country’s Ministry of Health is investigating allegations some nurses tried to substitute vaccines with empty syringes during the COVID-19 vaccination rollout.
