The United Nations Security Council has held an important meeting on Africa. The video teleconference event was chaired Wednesday by China’s State Councilor and Foreign Minister, Wang Yi. The discussion focused on the root causes of conflict in Africa. And it also addressed issues confronting the continent as it deals with the COVID-19 pandemic and plans for the future.  CGTN’s Huang Yue reports from Beijing.
