The Heat

The World Health Organization, on Tuesday, approved China’s Sinovac vaccine for emergency use in the fight against COVID-19.

It’s the second Chinese-developed vaccine that can now be included in COVAX, the global program providing vaccines to developing countries.

Last month, the Chinese vaccine, Sinopharm, received approval. More than 1.9 billion doses of vaccines have been administered globally but many countries are still struggling with enough supply.
