The Heat: Gaza in focus after conflict with Israel

The Heat

What does the future hold for Gaza after the recent conflict with Israel and its bombardment by Israeli forces?

The small strip of land, that is densely populated and home to about two million Palestinians, suffered severe damage and loss of life. Over 250 Palestinians were killed including more than 60 children.

Israel has defended its attacks saying it was responding to Hamas militants who fired rockets into Israel that killed twelve people there.

Recovering from military assaults by Israel is not new to Gaza as it again tries to cope from a devastating blow.
