Game companies show off new software as E3 returns following pandemic cancellation

The Electronic Entertainment Expo, better known as E3, draws tens of thousands to the Los Angeles Convention Center every year.

But after its cancellation, last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, the summer’s largest video game conference has come back this year, albeit virtually.

With many people spending more time at home over the last year, the gaming industry has exploded to record levels and big names are competing for a bigger share of the market.
