Colombia’s national strike began over a controversial tax reform bill and then grew into a long list of different demands.

The protests have now lasted for more than six consecutive weeks.

While there are fewer people marching this week, the strikes continue to exact a heavy toll, hitting one of Colombia’s best-known exports – coffee.
