Climate change leads to major consequences out in the U.S. West

Another blistering heat wave has gripped the western United States over the past week, driving up temperatures to an all-time record high across many states.

Scientists are pointing at human-caused climate change as one of the reasons for the extreme weather patterns, but some cities are feeling the brunt more than others.

Our correspondent went to Las Vegas where in recent years temperatures have risen higher than any other U.S. city.
