Largest U.S. wildfire already has consumed 120,000 hectares

There are currently 80 large wildfires raging in 13 states across the U.S., burning more than 1.1 million acres, mostly in western states, according to the National Interagency Fire Center.

Bootleg fire is currently one of the biggest wildfires in the U.S. state of Oregon. The fire started on July 6th and then quickly expanded due to a combination of extreme draught and strong wind.
