A number of local authorities in the United States have reintroduced mask mandates for indoor settings as the number of new COVID-19 cases in the country continues to rise.

But some states have banned officials from enforcing mask-wearing, saying it should be a personal choice.

It’s led to a debate about whether people should still be covering their faces because of the pandemic.
