African Americans are less likely than Whites or Hispanics in the U.S. to get a COVID-19 vaccine. 

Many issues contribute to this, including wariness of the U.S. healthcare system in part because of the Tuskegee Study, a four-decade experiment conducted on Black men without their consent. 

Now, some descendants of the men in that study are speaking out, hoping to convince more African Americans to get vaccinated.
