U.S. President Joe Biden held a virtual meeting on Tuesday with G7 leaders to discuss the best way to evacuate people from Afghanistan.

Biden has been criticized by allies for the way American troops are being withdrawn from the country – and also criticized here in the U.S.. Some politicians in the Republican Party are even considering an impeachment process, calling him unfit to be president.

Biden spoke about the situation in Afghanistan and said that every American who wants to leave the country will be able to do so before the August 31st deadline. Caroline Malone has details.
