Jackson Hole economic symposium goes online

Each August over the past four decades, the world’s central bankers, including members of the U.S. Federal Reserve, gather in the state of Wyoming for an economic symposium. 

Monetary policy is typically a prime topic of discussion. 

This year’s event will take place online because of the COVID-19 pandemic, a crisis that’s weighing heavily on the Fed as it considers future actions.
