Thousands of Afghans have been evacuated from Kabul in the past few weeks. 

After the chaos and panic of leaving, they’re preparing to start a new life. 

Volunteer groups and donation drives are expanding to help Afghan refugees, some of whom are arriving in the United States with little more than the clothes that they’re wearing.
