Record rain and flooding wreaked havoc from Pennsylvania to New York here in the United States. The deluge occurred days after Hurricane Ida devastated portions of Louisiana in what climate scientists say is yet another example of climate change. The extreme weather underscored the urgency for global cooperation as U.S. climate envoy John Kerry was in China for talks.  CGTN’s Su Yuting has more in this report.
