Another round of battle is underway in the COVID-19 fight pitting Florida Governor Ron DeSantis against U.S. President Joe Biden.

While Biden argues public health mandates are critical to saving lives – DeSantis calls them government overreach.

Their faceoff comes as Florida tries to recover from a summer surge in COVID cases. Overall, the state has reported more than 3.5 million cases and more than 50,000 deaths since the pandemic began.
