Cubans still struggle under U.S. sanctions

One year has gone by since the U.S. imposed new sanctions that cut off key remittances to Cuba.

The move by the former Trump White House aimed to prohibit remittances sent to firms that were linked to the Cuban military.

So far, the Biden-Harris administration has not implemented any new policy changes.
