How will Miami address the surge in violent crimes?

In 2020, the U.S.saw a spike in homicides, and cities like Chicago and Miami are scrambling to protect their people against crime. 

In Miami Beach, voters are being asked whether bars and nightclubs on the city’s world-famous strip should be required to stop serving liquor at 2 a.m., three hours earlier than the current 5 a.m. cutoff. 

But is that enough to stop violent crimes in tourist areas and beyond?
