Remembering loved ones lost to COVID-19 during Day of the Dead

People across Mexico are commemorating one of that country’s most traditional holidays, Day of the Dead, when people remember their loved ones who have died. 

Last year, because of the pandemic, all public celebrations were cancelled. 

This year, Mexicans are able to get out of quarantine to remember those who died of COVID-19.
