Chile presidential elections head to a second run-off

Chile’s presidential elections are headed for a second round run-off in December after there was no outright winner in Sunday’s first round. 

Far-right candidate Jose Antonio Kast took the most votes and he will now face  leftist Gabriel Boric, as Chilean voters break with the traditional parties.
