Drone footage shows the tornado-splintered ruins of Kentucky homes and businesses of Mayfield, Kentucky. Rescue workers are searching through destroyed building with hopes of finding survivors.

From the air the damage shows the incredible power of the tornado winds. Kentucky was the worst hit state from the swarm of tornadoes across the Midwest and South of the U.S.

Before and after satellite images showing sites in Kentucky before and after a monstrous tornado ripped across the middle of the U.S. have been released by Maxar, a satellite imaging company.

The imagery shows the destruction of the Mayfield Consumer Products candle factory where more than 100 people were reportedly working when the tornado struck.

Extensive damage can also be seen across the city with homes, buildings, and property barely recognizable.
