Broadway tightens COVID measures amid Omicron surge

Just months after Broadway reopened, at least 13 shows have closed for good or been forced to go on hiatus because of a spike in COVID-19 cases. 

Illness among cast members and falling audience numbers have left some of New York’s theaters losing money.
