President Biden delivers first State of the Union address

U.S. President Joe Biden used his first State of the Union speech in front of US lawmakers to call Russian President Vladimir Putin a dictator and vowed to stand with Ukraine.

He also announced the closure of US airspace to Russian aircraft and said Washington would tighten sanctions further.

Domestically Biden vowed to tackle inflation and continue to battle Covid as the nation lifts restrictions.
