Russian forces continue to bear down on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv with heavy fighting reported in the suburbs. Several cities have been hit across Ukraine and there is a growing humanitarian crisis. According to the United Nations, close to three million people have fled the country. Both sides continued to talk Monday but failed to reach a breakthrough. Talks are expected to resume Tuesday.  Ukraine’s President Volodmyr Zelenskyy urged his people to continue fighting.
