U.S. nursing school enrollment surges amid COVID pandemic

It’s a profession that in many ways is more important than ever. Nurses have played a critical role during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

And, according to the most recent statistics, nursing school applications are up. But with many nurses complaining about stress and burnout and leaving the profession, are nursing schools able to keep pace?
