As the conflict in Ukraine continues, there is increased focus on how it will impact the global economy.
And, it is also raising questions about the fallout for an already tense relationship between Washington and Beijing. Both topics were discussed over the weekend at the 25th Harvard College China Forum. CGTN America correspondent Toni Waterman reported on the event and also had an opportunity to sit down with former U.S. Treasury Secretary Larry Summers for a wide-ranging discussion on global economic issues including the China-U.S trade relationship.
Joining the discussion:
- Victor Gao is Chair Professor at Soochow University.
- Neysun Mahboubi is a Research Scholar at the Center for the Study of Contemporary China, University of Pennsylvania.
- Yan Liang is Chair Professor of Economics at Willamette University.
