U.S. hosts virtual meeting with leaders across the Americas

Leaders from across the Americas met virtually in Washington, D.C. Thursday to discuss how to improve post-pandemic investment in the region.

For the U.S. hosts, it’s an opportunity to look at solving supply chain problems that have dogged economic recovery as well as addressing immigration surges.

But Washington must also address the possibility of leaders from two of the biggest member states snubbing the main Summit of the Americas next month.
