Fuel shortage crisis affects local fishermen in Venezuela

It’s sitting on one of the largest proven oil reserves in the world, but Venezuela is in the midst of an oil crisis.

The Latin American country has been experiencing major gasoline and diesel shortages for years, as a result of underinvestment and failures on its refining infrastructure, and U.S. sanctions.
