The Heat: U.S. Race Relations

The Heat

It’s been more than two years since Breonna Taylor and George Floyd died at the hands of police officers in the U.S.

The killing of the two unarmed African Americans sparked protests and calls for racial justice around the world. Recently, 10 Black people were killed allegedly by an 18-year-old White man in a Buffalo grocery store. In a manifesto, the shooter allegedly wrote that he believes Black people will replace White Americans. He has now been charged with 25 counts of murder and domestic terrorism.
