Are parents responsible for the actions of young mass shooters?

The father of the accused Fourth of July parade shooter has broken his silence.

In an interview with the New York Post, Robert Crimo Jr. said he’s not responsible for his son’s actions, despite helping his son buy firearms just months after he allegedly threatened to kill people.

As CGTN’s Toni Waterman reports, it’s raising questions about whether the suspect’s father bears some legal responsibility for the attack.
