Colombia holds peace hearings to bring families closure

Colombia’s 50-year-old armed conflict between the government and leftist rebel groups, left a lengthy trail of crimes.

With the signing of a peace agreement, a Special Jurisdiction for Peace is bringing to light each one of them, in the hope that victims can find closure.

One of those crimes was kidnappings.

Colombians are trying to shed light on that painful part of their history.
