Survivors of U.S. Indian boarding school systems speak out about abuse, mistreatment

It’s called the “Road to Healing.”

For the next year, in various U.S. states, indigenous survivors of the country’s Indian boarding school system will share their stories of mistreatment and abuse. This history has largely been hidden over the past two centuries but, as in Canada in recent years, it’s finally becoming public.
