U.S. inflation woes put pressure on businesses in Argentina

Global inflation is at the highest in decades, the result of the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic and the conflict in Ukraine.

In the United States that has led to the Federal Reserve increasing interest rates to tame inflation, and this has a direct effect on emerging markets.

For Argentina, Latin America’s third-largest economy, it compounds already-existing debt and inflation problems.
